Sony A7S Mark III - Body
The Sony A7S Mark III is a full-frame system camera developed for videographers and photographers who have to work in less favorable lighting conditions. Video developments never stop and the A7S mark III is no exception. This 12.1 megapixel camera shoots 4K video at a whopping 120 frames per second. This allows you to slow down your images up to eight times. In this way, making slow motion videos becomes easier, but also more affordable. Furthermore, with the A7S mark III it is possible to make 10-bit 4: 2: 2 recordings, which ensures a great depth of color. This allows the camera to capture more than one billion different colors per pixel. You will see that your videos acquire more depth and that the colors blend more smoothly. Thanks to the 759-point autofocus system, you can be sure that you always have your subject in focus. Now it is even possible to focus on the eyes of animals and people. Not only does it make everything easier, but it's also more fun to shoot videos.
The Sony A7S mark III uses the well-known Exmor R CMOS sensor. We found this sensor in several Sony cameras, and it is known as a powerful, light-sensitive sensor. You can see this at a maximum ISO of 409,600 and a dynamic range of over 15 stops. In this way, we get closer to what a human eye can perceive. With this camera, you can take beautiful videos in less favorable lighting conditions, without having to worry about noise. And if you want to be even more secure, you can always configure auxiliary tools like Zebra. Do you want to edit the colors in post-processing? In that case, you can choose different profiles, such as the well-known S-Log2 and S-Log 3.
The exterior design of the Sony A7S mark III has not changed much compared to the A7S mark II. Some buttons have been added that were already included in other full-frame cameras, such as the A7R mark IV. For example, the custom button C3 has been moved from the right of the viewfinder to the far left of the camera. One major change is that the record button is no longer on the side, but on the top. This makes it much easier to get to, and the shutter button is close to the record button. Additionally, the A7S mark III features Sony's E-mount, with which you can use all Sony full-frame lenses.
