Abertura fija

Atractivo fondo desenfocado

Estabilizador de la imagen
El EF-S 17-55 mm f/2,8 IS USM incorpora el estabilizador de imagen de 3 puntos de Canon (IS). Ideal para trabajar sin trípode, el estabilizador de imagen permite utilizar velocidades de obturación tres puntos más lentas sin incremento perceptible en la nitidez de la imagen. El estabilizador de imagen ayuda en entornos con poca luz, escenas a paso rápido y en disparos desde vehículos en movimiento.
Autofoco rápido y silencioso
El motor ultrasónico (USM) utiliza vibraciones de frecuencia ultrasónica para activar el autofoco de forma sensible, a gran velocidad y casi sin ruido alguno. Aplicando la fuerza de un par retiene con precisión el grupo de lentes de enfoque evitando que se pasen. Posibilidad de enfoque manual disponible en todo momento sin necesidad de desconectar el enfoque automático.
Revestimientos Súper Spectra
Optimización de revestimientos Súper Spectra y formas de las lentes para suprimir el velo óptico y las luces parásitas, que tiene mayor propensión a ocurrir en las cámaras digitales debido a la reflexión del sensor de imagen. Los revestimientos también contribuyen a un equilibrio natural del color e incrementan el contraste, consiguiendo así imágenes más vívidas y auténticas.
Transmisión de la distancia al flash E-TTL II
El objetivo transmite información sobre la distancia al sistema de flash E-TTL II de la cámara, lo que asegura una exposición del flash óptima en cualquier situación.
