The Distagon Optical System compresses 11 elements into 10 groups, and uses floating aspherical glass elements to ensure consistent image quality over the entire focus range. Individual elements are provided with an anti-glare coating that suppresses flare and ghosting. With an extremely wide angle of view, the Batis 18mm F2.8 is ideal for interior and architectural photography.
