The special spherical (pressed) video elements guarantee perfect correction of chromatic aberrations and therefore very high optical quality. The F1.4's focal length and diaphragm made of 9 blades ensure a perfect balance between the focused and unfocused parts of the subject. The lens is equipped with an HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor) for fast and quiet focusing. You can also easily correct the focus manually.
