Lleva el concepto de desarrollo de la línea Art -la búsqueda de la máxima calidad de imagen- al siguiente nivel.

Con las cámaras sin espejo consolidándose a un ritmo acelerado, las expectativas con respecto a los objetivos de alto rendimiento para estos sistemas están creciendo. Desafortunadamente, muchos fotógrafos pueden creer que tienen pocas opciones para las cámaras sin espejo de fotograma completo. SIGMA ha desarrollado esta nueva serie de objetivos mirrorless full-frame como la solución perfecta para este nuevo desafío.
SIGMA ha creado ópticas intercambiables con unas especificaciones y un rendimiento sin precedentes mediante diseños que se benefician de la función de longitud focal de brida corta de las cámaras sin espejo, a la vez que conservan los conceptos de las líneas Contemporary, Art y Sports. Este objetivo es uno de los tres nuevos modelos pioneros de esta serie.
Primer objetivo prime de SIGMA con una apertura máxima de f/1.2
La línea SIGMA Art busca también en la era de las cámaras sin espejo el máximo rendimiento, alcanzando en este caso una apertura máxima de F1.2. Tres elementos de vidrio SLD y tres lentes asféricas, incluida una lente asférica doble, están perfectamente dispuestos. Además del diseño óptico que hace uso de la característica de la longitud focal de brida corta, este objetivo aprovecha de manera efectiva la función de corrección dentro de la cámara para mitigar la distorsión y la iluminación periférica. Varias aberraciones que son difíciles de corregir mediante posproducción se corrigen a fondo a través de las tecnologías de diseño óptico de SIGMA, logrando una resolución abrumadora que puede trabajar con más de 50 millones de píxeles.
Sellado contra polvo y salpicaduras
Este objetivo cuenta con una construcción a prueba de polvo y salpicaduras, además de un revestimiento en la superficie de la lente frontal que repele el agua y la grasa, permitiendo disparar en multitud de entornos.
